Medi For All Tips:

  • Use regular versions of beans and seasoning mx if that's what you have, rather than buying new low-sodium versions.

  • Use frozen fajita mix vegetables for a more affordable option. Cook from frozen, until tender and most of the water has evaporated.

  • If you're using fresh vegetables, make your own "fajita mix," rather than buying a pre-sliced mix. Use 1 onion and 1 bell pepper (any color).

  • If you already have a lot of spices at home, save money and make your own seasoning blend. Try this recipe from Budget Bytes.

  • Serve with whole wheat tortillas or brown rice and avocado slices to round out your meal!
